Our Board

Farm Fuel Inc. was started by a group of successful farmers.  With the collaboration of all these hard working people and their culminated resources, we are able to do most anything we put our minds to.

There is Ken Kimes who is the owner of New Natives Farm with his wife, Sandra Ward. Their story was recently published by UCSC, and it is a very interesting story at that!  New Natives Farm Bio  Ken Kimes is our acting president of this board, in charge of organizing harvest of our Pescadero Gold as well as managing logistics.  Thank you Ken for all your hard work!

Larry Jacobs is another member of our board.  He is the CEO of Jacobs Farm (specializing in herbs nation wide) as well as Del Cabo cooperative.  An energetic and motivated board member, we are very grateful for Larry’s efforts in our projects as well as the resources Jacob’s farm has offers FFI.  Larry’s story was also recently published by UCSC.  The story of Jacobs Farm and Del Cabo

Henry Smith is another excellent resource to our company.  He is a dedicated worker to Jacobs farm, as well as carpenter, naturalist, expert mechanic and a biodiesel aficionado.  It is thanks to Henry that we are able to continue researching the use of mustard oil as an alternative fuel source.

Jim Cochran is the fourth member of our board.  He is the president of Swanton Berry Farm, a farm that has pioneered the production of organic strawberries on the Central Coast.  With Jim as a member of our board, FFI has done extensive research on organic products that would help the production of organic strawberries become a more economically viable alternative for conventional farmers.

Well thanks for taking the time to get to know us! We look forward to working with you all in the near future.
